Friday 10 April:

9am – Registration & Sign up for Workshops

10-10.30am – Conference Opening:  Aunty Joan Hendriks, Aboriginal Elder of the Ngugi people from Moreton Island, Catholic Theologian

10.30-12pm – Keynote 1: David Tacey, Emeritus Professor of Literature,  La Trobe University

The Creative Arts as a Container of Australian Spirituality

12-1pm – Lunch

1-2.30pm: Keynote 2: Sr Rosemary Crumlin RSM, OAM, Adjunct Professor, Australian Catholic University, Curator, Art Historian

The Act of Bible Reading:  A Narrative Approach

This will take the form of a specially commissioned video presentation, with the speakers joining a live Q+A session via Skype and Twitter @#DAN15

4.30-6pm: An evening with Michael Leunig – Spirituality, Art and Innocence

This talk and Q&A (chaired by David Tacey) is open to the public as a ticketed event in the Harker Auditorium, VPAC, Somerville House.

Pre-signed copies of a new edition of Leunig’s much loved When I Talk to You will be available for purchase.
(Note – this event is included in the cost of Conference Registration.  Additional tickets can be purchased online).

7.30-10pm: Conference Dinner – Olé Restaurant, South Bank (smart casual attire!)
